I figured that out the hard way with my previous car. It had direct injection, electronic blah blah blah everything. My battery died so I though, no big deal I have a manual, I'll just roll it down the hill from my house... NOPE did not start. Took me a second to figure out that those electronic direct fuel injector and drive by wire throttle requires POWER.
I had to run back up the hill to get my other car to jump start it.... Drive it back, then run back to get the other car. Good morning exercise.
Good luck with the Camaro, how are you going to disengage E-Brake if you have no power?
