I have a set of Girodisc titanium brake pad shims. I understand that
they help block the heat from going into the Calipers and pistons. Seems
like a good idea when using track pads, but what about the OEM pads or
something mild like Ferrodo DS2500? It seems blocking the heat from the caliper would keep more heat in the pads, and that may cause them
to overheat sooner.

Opinions?
