When I do my burnout I wait till I see a decent amount of smoke then roll forward. I recommend doing the Solid Bushings for your rear cradle. This will prevent wheel hop. I just picked my car up from the Shop yesterday which they installed the 1LE Solid Bushings from Chevrolet performance. I’ve done this on 2 6th Gen ZL1s trust me it’s worth it.
Any other suggestions?

I was looking into a new drive shaft but wonder if there are other things to do first? Car makes plenty of power and the trans has been tuned as well. Would any suspension work be a good idea?
