Not to say that it dosent matter that the MAF is calibrated, but given that a lot of the engines are somewhat stock why isn't the stock MAF calibration still good, given that its tuned by GM with multi million dollar equipment and given that someone who recalibrates their MAF uses a 200 dollar wideband with no calibration traceability and tunes it on some random dyno somewhere.
I'm just trying to understand how the source of error of receiving wideband feedback and trying to interpret airmass after it has gone through the engine and undergone combustion and all that? I mean I get it if someone hacks up their airbox with the MAF sensor location moved, but for stock MAF setups?
