It’s an encompassing term.
As stated, if it’s ran a 9.01 or a 9.99, it’s a 9sec car, more finely designated by low, mid or high. The obvious reason being is that it says 9.xxx.
Yes, as a whole, drag racing is easier to get started in, but that doesn’t make being a good drag racer “easy”. It takes years of experience to be proficient at the various aspects of the car & the race/ run itself. The slightest mistake can cost you tenths of a second, or more. Track conditions themselves can be paramount as well.
