I believe this is doable provided I keep the same tire brand on the same axle. I also believe this is doable for rear wheel drive cars...
I want to drive this car in all weather conditions outside of ice/snow; hence, why I’m shopping for A/S tires.

OP I would go with skinnier tires but the same height for the winter.
