I doubt it's the starter because if it wasn't disengaging properly it should make a screeching sound as the engine spins the teeth way faster then the starter can. But I'm open to all ideas. No one knows everything.
I would park the car on flat ground, command start it and film the noise you hear and watch for movement. Consider starting a new post in the "general forum" and see if you can get other a10's to do the same. Compare results, If you cant come to a conclusion at least you can show the service adviser your video.

Yeah I do have a little video of it I plan on showing them when I can eventually take it to service.
