Paddle shifting like formula one cars has always been more fun for me. I think there is plenty of engagement just setting the A10 to manual mode, and using either the paddles or shifter knob. You can have the car be and easy docile ride, then with just a quick hold of the paddle drop down to the lowest gear and blast through traffic or around corners while in complete control of the car's shifting. The fact it is quicker is just an added bonus.
For some an automatic is more fun than a manual.
