Your tire selection is going to be a factor as you have been told. I have changed to non runflat tires, I still have to "speak up" quite a bit to have a conversation. If you change your tires dont expect it to be "luxury car" quiet.
Sound deadner applied to doors, trunk, ect may be something to consider.

True that, this sure ain't no Bentley.
However, with the PS4S cabin noise is at least in the "normal, though on the louder side" category, while the runflats push it well over into "sounds like a construction zone, no chatting unless you're willing to shout" territory.
Also, more sidewall helps a bit with clunk type noises from road unevenness, which we have an abundance of here in NJ. Stock wheels will easily accommodate 255/40/20 front and 285/35/20 rear tires, maybe even one size higher, but front strut clearance and tire width start to become a bottleneck at that point.
