Perhaps I feel like the sound of the car or its exhaust is what sounds raw to me. I’m actually legitimately curious to know if you would feel the same way in a ZL1 1LE as you would in a 5th gen Z28, assuming a ZL1 1LE has the same if not more raw characteristics than a 5th gen Z28.

Oh the Z/28 is DEFINITELY a more raw drivers car than the standard ZL1, by far (but it isn't faster, even if you upgrade the shit out of it while keeping it NA, it isnt faster). I would never call the 6th gen ZL1 a raw car, I would call it refined (to the extent of being more like an airliner going to take off). I haven't driven a ZLE to compare, but I am betting it has closer to the same feeling since it has the newer gen DSSV, but of course not nearly the same rarity. I actually was looking at ZLEs first, but I didn't like the canards and wing on it. Made me feel like I was looking at a car that was the result of a camaro raping a honda or toyota lol. I went and looked at one, but I never bothered to drive it because I couldnt get around the aero. But I gotta admit, I kind of wish I wouldve got the ZLE, because I feel like it wouldve suited me much more from a "feel of the drive" perspective. Oh well, live and learn.
