Many years ago I cruising about 80 on I-495 around DC and saw someone in the road up ahead. As I got closer I realized it was a cop motioning me to the side of the road (left side). As I came screeching to halt, about 30 feet past him, I asked him when he walked up to my window, "You didn't think I could stop back there as fast as I was going do you?" Back in the mid-90's i had a '74 GTO (don't laugh, i was a kid). Anyway I was cruising Northern VA on an open stretch of Parkway and all of a sudden i saw a cop in the middle of the median in front of a bridge point at me as I drove by. I wasn't sure what was going on so I just kept driving. My girlfriend freaked out cause she thought we were going to get chased down. Luckily nothing ever happened. I don't know what that cop wanted, but luckily I never found out.

Anyway, I get harassed about not having a front plate on my Camaro and Viper. I've racked up sever hundred dollars in tickets from cops that drive through neighborhoods looking for violations to ticket when its parked in the street. Also been pulled over several times for it.
