Ok I thought he was referring to the dirty/clean side of the can, I misread his post but the question is almost rhetorical/patently obvious isn't it? All engines - especially forced induction - have some blowby past the rings (or seals in the case of a rotary).
The LT4 already has a clean side separator so another one on the clean side of the catch can is not required (Elite confirmed this)
