As far as a dealer testing for E... I doubt that would happen. But that isn't the point. The ecm has to know how much dinosaur juice to feed the engine. If you're running E16+, the ecm doesn't have the capability of doing it stock. That's why everyone puts the sensor in and reprograms.

Actually the ECM does, it uses the virtual E85 tables and does it based off of fuel trims. E10 is already calculated into the OEM programming.
