Just thought I would throw in my opinion on this system - it kicks butt!!!
I installed the touring non-resonated system along with 2" Kooks headers and test pipes a few weeks ago.
I did the install myself in my garage on 8" tall ramps and cribs.
I did have enough room like that to get everything done just fine.
Everything went well for the installation. I couple pipes were a little snug fitting into the flared pipes and needed minor persuasion. But nothing the average owner can't deal with easy enough.
Everything cleared nicely and lined up with the hangers perfect.
With the headers and test pipes, to be honest, it was a little TOO much for me. REALLY loud like that.
But I got two resonators installed in the same position that AWE offers theirs as an option - now it's perfect!!
The 180 technology is legit.
It amazes me that the system can be moderate at an idle and cruising. But when you get on it, the beast awakens. Nice and loud.
It has a VERY aggressive sound during moderate acceleration. Much meaner sounding than stock or even the muffler delete setup I had for a few months. But it's pretty quite while cruising with no drone at all.
Cold start up is a bit beastly though I admit. But again I like that.
In my opinion, those going with Headers and test pipes should go with the touring resonated version.
If you keep 2 cats, then the touring non-resonated version should do nicely.
