I did the swap. The trunk closes perfectly. The problem is that the bottom of the lenses protrude out farther than the factory tail lights, so the rear bumper cover doesn't fit back on properly. The corners won't close up all the way and there is a bit of a gap. So a bit of trimming will need to be done to the bumper cover where the 4 tabs are under the lights. Or indeed, replace with a 2019 number cover

The gap between the lenses doesn't bother me, but you can see a couple of those bumper mounting tabs that are now exposed
