Let’s say you are on the highway in PTM mode. Doing 80 mph.
Some dude in a 2020 GT 500 pulls up and gives the signal. So you are probably in 8th gear. Once you slightly tap the gas the “PSA” comes up.
This alerts the A10 that we are about to run hard. So the tranny is now in combat mode. Once you floor it the car will downshift and you’ll be in the next zip code.

If you floor it without tapping the gas slightly then it will downshift a tad slower than with PSA.
