I had my 19 ZLE for about 300 miles, just swapped tires out for michelins (thank God), and got hit by a nasty storm unexpectedly.
Unbeknownst to me, water got in the front passenger headlight harness, travelled to the the cooling fan module, and fried my cooling fan.
Because it was winter, I had no idea, other than an acrid odor that I couldn't place.
Fast forward about 3 weeks, traffic was stopped, and all the sudden - massive overheating, limp mode, high out of range coolant temperature, etc... I pulled into a parking lot, let if cool, and started researching.
Found out about the common headlight harness issue, fan module fried. Took it to dealer and had it back within about a week (this was during the strike - so I was super worried that I would be without my car for a long time.)
No problems since.
I hope for as good of luck for you as I had!
