For DD and some track time, I consider that the ZL1 would be a sufficient performance ride plus the fact that the magnetic suspension is adjustable for any driving needs and the summer tires would last longer than the cup tires. If the intention is for tracking without worrying of a harsh DD ride then the ZL1 1LE would be the right choice.
