What are the Brands and part numbers for aftermarket oil pumps for the GenV LT4
that will correct the problems/weaknesses in the factory LT4 oil pump ?


It seems to me after reading all the posts re: oil pump failures on 2017-2019 LT4
ZL1 the problem is similar to the problem the Mustang Coyotes have when they add a supercharger to an NA engine. The powdered metal components/gears must be
replaced with billet steel gears.

The harmonics, stresses on the crankshaft from the supercharger appears to be breaking the powdered metal components/gears in the oil pumps.

Thats why Katech has a billet solution for the Dry sump LT4 oil pump, because it replaced the oil pump gears with billet steel parts.


I think the powdered metal parts inside the LT1/LT4 Wet sump oil pump need to be replaced by billet steel parts made by some aftermarket company.
