I wouldn't use Carpro Essence for this purpose. It doesn't have much abrasive in it. The same abrasives as Carpro Reflect finishing polish, but less of them.
If it did manage to remove it, your pad will be ruined from the sap, and could potentially mar the paint.
Try IPA first.
