If i were to do it again, I would have gotten them coated at time of purchase, no questions about it. Then install them and be worry free.

Thanks. Heck, I get start up issues after driving on a hot day with stock manifolds.
I think I'll go with catted 1-7/8" Kooks. Not looking for every bit out of the engine.
