Nitrous setup installed - but a few questions.

Relatively new to the performance scene as well as nitrous - I am 1 7/8" headers, e85, ss4 cam, 3800 stall, forged rods/pistons, ported heads, and ported MSD/95mm TB... I currently have a 15lb bottle, Bottle Warmer, TPS RPM Window Switch, and Purge valve kit.. I am looking to add a dedicated fuel system… and probably a console switch panel… i’ll be able to turn the bottle warmer on and arm it from the panel.. I'll configure my window switch to only actually spray at certain RPMs in a certain gear.. once I get the dedicated fuel system, I can run c85 to keep my e85 percentage consistent to spray on my nitrous tune.. can anybody explain to me what would the progressive controller do for me that my current setup will not? and I also see people mentioning an MSD hardline plate system.. what benefit would that give me over my current setup which directly sprays into the CAI? Trying to determine if my current setup is safe enough, or what else I should invest into maximize safety. Timing retard? Progressive controller? etc.
