Kind of sad because I see dealerships doing this around me even... we're essential business here and we're still trying to sell like no tomorrow.
We're just as aggressive offsite/online as we are in person though because we want to sell the car.

We're very cognizant of rules with being open right now, abiding by social distancing and if a customer wants to test-drive a car now we have policies in place where virtually all of them are solo test-drives right now.

I can't say how GM is doing it, but Ford and CDJR allow us do do most everything remotely and drop the car off for the customer with virtually no interaction at all with a person as a pre-caution in these times. With the 0% for up to 84mo and deferring up to six payments its a great time right now.

I've been getting people calling in on specific new and used vehicles, negotiating over the phone/email/text, doing a credit app online (if trade is involved its sight-unseen, value could go up if we have a chance to do an in-person appraisal), sell gap and other insurances via the phone and then contracts and such are sent electronically. I walk them through just as I would in person and everything is e-Sign and BOOM! delivered to you... HAPPY NEW CAR DAY!!
