Sucks for the owner of that Mustang.
I will say this. I spent good hard earned money on my car. I floor the skinny pedal and keep it there to practice my no lift shifts. I don’t do it in traffic. I don’t do it around pedestrians.i do it on open clear roads. I’d definitely prefer the track to run up to much faster speeds.
But I’m sure 95% or more of us floor our cars. Let’s face it. It’s fun!!!!

The other drivers weaving in and out of traffic doubling the speed limits sometimes are the reckless ones.
Myself on an open road ripping on it to 80 mph is far less dangerous. If I get caught then it’s my own fault. I could get caught speeding in my work truck too. And I’m sure most members here have been caught speeding at least once. Let’s be real.
