I love my NPP as well and don't intend to replace it any time soon. Menacing cold start, quiet 45 dB cruising with powerful 95dB WOT scream, just enough rasp and absolutely no drone, plus no issue with inspection in this nanny CARB state.
Gotta admit that the large suitcase muffler is a bit unsightly, though, but at least it makes for smoother airflow under the car, practically all aftermarket catback or axleback exhausts introduce random pockets and obstructions.
