True, and we have done it plenty of times. It stays.
For our TC's this is very easy to confirm, simply switch back and forth between OE (stock mode) and any other mode and you'll notice.
For the TB there are a couple of ways to verify;
1) Can anyone here with one of our TB's installed for longer than 2 months or more than 2k miles send a log during normal everyday driving? We'll compare MAF @ TP vs. OEM, we'll look at fuel and spark too.
2) Run the car in manual mode and let it cruise at the minimum speed a given gear allows, accelerate and you should notice that with the stock TB it will be poor (almost like lugging the engine) while with ours you can still pull ahead smoothly.
