You guys just don't have a clue and we'll leave it at that.
GM knows what they have product wise and they know that simply advertising a car that was imagined, designed and engineered to give existing Camaro buyers "MOHRRRRRRRRRRRR" (Seriously that is what they did, and they admitted that they asked the Camaro Royalty what they wanted in the Gen6 and the answer was simply, "more") that a simple TV commercial would be a GIANT waist of money.
Poor sales are not a result of advertising or lack thereof. Ford does not advertise the Mustang and it still leads the pack.
You cannot advertise a car designed for a small segment of the population and have a cool TV commercial drive sales. You mayyyyy get a slight bump but then reality sets in and the business case will tell you that you spent more money for the commercial and airtime for that commercial than profits made as a result of the commercial.
