And getting a security clearance isn't that bad. I had to get one (federal top secret) at enlistment for my Guard job.

Yeah.. but I'm on the tubby side (280) so I doubt I'd be much good other than being ammo b!tch and wrench monkey if the psychos decided to drop in on a base n' go boom. Ain't NO way I'm fitting inside a KC-135 tank access hole. Let alone an A-10.. which from what I know need to be inspected after almost every friggin flight.
But hey, it pays to have kick ass close air support with a giant gun.
The main spars are just.. 40 friggin years old and pull 5-6 Gs every day.
