Thank you for the props. I don’t recall seeing a recommendation to disconnect the battery in the instructions. I did see something about waiting a few minutes after opening the doors to allow the ECU to go back to “sleep” and avoid getting a check engine light afterwards.

That’s why I chose to disconnect the battery instead. It’s an extra 2 minutes to do so. JUST LEAVE YOUR TRUNK AND DOORS OPEN WHILE YOU’RE WORKING ON THE CAR. Good luck with your install. Report back with your thoughts on driving the car afterwards.

I still haven’t driven mine because of work.
