Final program uploaded (#6). Will give it a go once the weather improves.
Log last night was similar - AFR adjusted to 12 to 1, still 9.6 psi boost. The sound is considerably different than standard LT1. One major challenge electric cars will have - no aural enjoyment!
It pulls quite strongly past the 6500 rpm redline...may look for set of valve springs sooner than later...
I have since swapped to 1 step cooler plug to help with reliability...NGK 6509 - LTR6IX-11.
Eldi: by all means post on the thread - tried to offer all the details for the next guy, as applicable.
At a basic purchase price of ~$5000, the LT4 setup is well worth the transformation for my application. Also required is HPTuners/tune, wideband sensor/install. My car also required an LT4 air intake setup since mine came with GM Performance Intake as well as a blower insulator pad. Additional was LT4 mechanical fuel pump, LT4 injectors, harmonic balancer remover/installer tool, fuel pump mic tool, and the ADM reservoir assembly. I damaged one sensor and my kit didn't come with a blower belt.
Major bonus is OEM parts reliability and OEM look for German legality. Believe the power will be sufficient for my skills...and is the lightest of the options.
I do plan to get a final weight and return to the same dyno for a final number - pending current world events.
The swap was not difficult and makes the car as I hoped - now 'fast' and a very well-rounded car. It will be more challenging for me to keep up with it on the Ring!
