If you want the GM extended warranty, you'll want to make sure it's a GMEPP (protection plan). This plan goes into the GM system and can be accessed by the dealer using your VIN. Your dealer can give you prices or you can shop around. I bought mine from a dealer in Michigan. They offered a way better price than my local dealer.
