Guess things have changed. In the past I was always told the extended warranty coverage always started from mile 0. This meant if you bought 48 months/48000 mile coverage it started from 0 and in effect only meant you were buying an additional 12 months or 12,000 miles of coverage because the factory bumper to bumper warranty was 36/36,000
