MSRP with destination charge for a brand new 2020 LT1 with zero options is $33,745, so I'd say yes, it isn't unusual to get 10% off at the dealership.

However, do you really want absolutely no options? Only you know your budget, but we're talking
- no dual mode exhaust (and thus 2 exhaust pipes, not 4)
- no magnetic ride control
- no rear Brembo brakes
- no HUD
- no spoiler
- no blind spot monitoring, no rear cross traffic alert, no object detection
- cloth seats with no cooling or heating
- small touch screen
- "base level" audio system
- no sunroof
- no navigation
etc.

The LT1 is the trim designed for those who only want the V8 and nothing else. You can option in many of the above, but then the price will obviously start to climb.

Finally, I'd stay away from rental V8's, many others before me have already mentioned why.
