Don't be me, get Johnson lifters and have them installed with proper preload.
My car with large cam idles at 900 RPM, FYI, the smaller TSP cam that I had idled at 850 RPM. Seems that DI and 11.5 CR can make-up for the loss of idle speed compression and vacuum. Frankly, I'm surprised.

I did the VVT limiter to 22 degrees? on my small TSP cam, most tuners don't use it anyway, I thought it would be interesting to retain it. Two things I notice:
1) this cam TSP says it is a perfect LT5 cam... interesting
