Also owned both and as stated above, they are incomparable. The 6th Gen ZL1 is such a complete package of tight handling, HP/TQ, and comfort. It also looks great and has superior build quality.
There is no bad. Every metric is an upgrade, and some of them are huge. The A6 transmission is a pile of trash compared to the A10. The A10 is crisp, sharp, fast, and brutal when you want it to be. LSA ZL1's were also heat soak city. With the LT4 ZL1, heat soak is not a thing. Now if you start cranking up boost then you can have issues like any blower engine.
With your mods and HP of 715, you're in bolt on and E or Meth range for the LT4. You will not regret going 6th Gen.
