Yeah honestly i am not sure. I dont have any hard data of what you are looking for. What i will say is that if you as the driver are more confident with a sharper tire, go that route!
Its why I ran 275s on the type r where others were going with 285s. I liked the sharpness and overall grip of that tire and it worked for me.
I will say as i am in the same boat with weather, its 90% the reason i run the Re71R. It works in all the weather we have here.
