My nitto 555Rs I had to roast them in the burnout to get a good a 60. my MTs just a quick spin to get the rocks off them, my M&H drag radials needed a good burnout and I had to really drop the air in those. Did the person in front of you drive the wet box, were they on street tires tearing up the surface is the person in the next lane taking their sweet time to stage. so many things that can screw up a launch

Yep and the launch makes or breaks the entire run, which is my point. The car isn't getting slower or inconsistent it's the driver screwing up the launch and it's even easier to screw up the launch on stock tires.
