i've had good cam and head experience with texas speed. Have their torquer v2 and stage 1.0 799 heads on my LS1 camaro. All the supporting parts is what cost the most money.

You do a cam on the 6th gen your looking at replacing: valvespring, lifters, pushrods, possibly rockers if you upgrade, plus the DoD delete. Then you have the gaskets, probably want to do new lifter trays while your in there. Might as well do Heads while since your replacing the valvetrain. I don't know what the stock injectors are rated too, maybe want a higher flowing fuel injector. Speaking of higher flowing, you can't just stick with the stock intake manifold, gotta let them heads breathe with the new cam. Hell you'll need a larger throttle body too. Oh Dont forget about the longtube headers so that bad boy can exhale some heat. Finally you'll need a tune, then you'll be done. $5k later.

Point is, I would save up for everything and do it all at the same time. Oh and it's expensive. Don't skimp on inferior parts, Get the quality parts or your going to be spending more money tearing into the engine once again.

My naturally aspirated build and costs is below.
