I think Ford got it right this time, and don't consider fast tire wear due to weight a problem to discount the car on.
Makes it way more expensive to track, but as long as the tires hold up I think the 500 will too.

They didn’t mention why it lost time in the video, so have no idea if was brakes, tires, or human error.
I’m sure the gt500 will track very well tho, just odd that the only 2 times that I have read or watched a car review, they mention time lost per lap. And both just happen to be gt500’s.
