Wow $1,800. Buy a starter and heat shield on Rock Auto for $130 and a battery can be had for less than 2 bills. Hate to depress you but you got screwed. glad you got it back though. Even if a couple wires burnt and needed replaced. Sure glad I can work on my own car.
