I've been putting nothing but Mobile 1 ESP 0W-40 in my ZL1 since the summer of 2018. I found there is a small but noticeable difference in acceleration smoothness and over engine performance with the 0W-40 versus M1 5W-30. Even though I don't track my car, I feel the performance gain from the 0W-40 oil is worth the extra cost.
