Hurst Short Throw Shifter & Edelbrock 2650

Word of advice......Install a Hurst Shifter before installing a Edelbrock 2650 Supercharger! There is no clearance for the Edelbrock against the firewall when you tilt the transmisson to get the pins out. I had to loosen the firewall cowling and lift it up over the top of the supercarger. It was going good untill this happened. The only issue is a very small gouge in the top of the Supercharger. I was able to fix this with a file and some black paint. Was it worth it?........Hell Ya!!
What a differeance. Second gear position is where neutral was with the stock shifter. I did not do the Anti-Venom mod. I wanted to see how stiff the Hurst shifter was first. I think its just fine at this point. I also have the Hot Wheels Camaro. It has full surrounding where the tail pipes are. To remove the exhaust you have to push it all the way back and then forward to clear the ground effects. While the the exhaust was out I painted it with high temp paint. It helps the weld locations from rusting.
