The reason I say that is because the owner of the detail shop I use modded his '18 ZL1 1LE (headers, x-pipe, no cats, upper/lower pullies, Roto-Fab intake, ported TB, ported SC snout, catch can, plugs/wires). After the mods, his car put down 85 more rwhp and 135 lb/ft more torque. Unfortunately, the first time at the track, his ZL1 1LE didn't make it two laps before going into lip mode. Some cooling mods were added before the second trip to the track but limp mode still occurred before completing two laps. The owner got frustrated and sold the car.

The lesson to be learned from all this is that mods that work well to increase 1/4 mile performance don't necessarily improve performance for a 25 min track session.
I can attest to the "lesson learned". I modded a C7 Base with a SC, Dewitts Radiator, Oil Cooler, Headers and it was making 677 at the wheels, but couldn't keep it on the track more than about 10 mins, before it went into limp mode. Very frustrating which lead to me selling it and getting a ZL-1.
