Hi Mike,
I wanted to ask, how does the nature of your throttle controller affect the various modes for the ZL1? Meaning, the Tour vs Sport vs Track etc which all have different throttle maps/sensitivities to pedal input as designed to help with corner exit in Track Mode vs Tour which is much more aggressive in the early pedal range for a better feel on the street.
I'm assuming if you map the throttle using your controller to be more aggressive, it will accentuate the stock "maps" per mode by the same amount, essentially making Tour mode faster throttle and Track mode as well or?
Also wanted to ask, in the event that the unit fails, is there an auto-bypass that allows the OEM signal to go through the device without causing throttle issues (could be a safety concern if it fails while driving) or does it need to be uninstalled if it fails to allow further driving? Curious if you have tested this, perhaps by removing the power source to the device mid-drive and seeing what happens. A video would be GREAT to alleviate any concerns in this regard.
Last item was that folks using a Vitesse Controller have mentioned risk of CELs with throttle controllers like this, usually when changing settings on a running engine or not calibrating it correctly at the get go etc. What experiences have you seen with CELs on your device so far in your beta testing?
