I was just about to comment to check the spark plug wires. But as I continued reading I saw you got it fixed already.
I had similar problems when I just received my car over here in Europe. Missing at idle, scratched from the shipping company, and waterspots burnt in the paint from sitting at the shipping location. In Europe we are on our own, if there is a problem.
