I believe most of the blower porting advantage to be in the snout. Porting the snout with larger TB and CAI will flow more into the blower for more compressible air, while porting after the blower will decrease boost on a stock engine without
Pulleys. You can see in this photo he ported the shout to match the adaptor.

Unfortunately, I never really looked that closely at the adaptor before having it installed. If I go the ported supercharger route, it’ll be interesting to see what had been done to the adaptor.
