CAMARO6 - View Single Post - Is it normal for the rear end to "wander" under acceleration?

My 1SS non mag ride convertible (which I traded in) was solid as a rock. Zero pull, wander... nothing. This was down to 45F w/ stock Goodyear run flats.

The ZL1 is another story, scary wander / floating sensation @ full throttle and cooler pavement temps ~ 65 - 70F. This improves 50% when the tires are hot. This happens all the way up to 90 MPH, so the tires are not slipping.

I personally think it's a tire issue or the factory alignment, possibly one of the rear wheels toe is out just a smidge. I'll be bringing the car to someone familiar with high powered cars / alignment in the spring (for evaluation).
