Mustang or Dynojet dyno? Make a big difference.
I'll repeat what others have said - E85 is God's fuel...and the fuel of Indy 500. Simply get a flex-fuel sensor and a new tune and you'll be over 500. Of course E85's best friend is forced induction, but you'll still benefit if it's readily available near you. It also has a natural cooling effect inside the combustion chamber, so it has more benefits than just extra HP.
And yes, the reduced MPG does suck, and I'm not sure the reduced cost/gallon will be a break-even, but having flex-fuel lets you go back to 93 whenever you're traveling on cruise control and don't need the extra performance. Plus it smells soooo sweet! But if there's not an E85 gas station where you normally fill-up, then don't bother.
