The ZL1, now in its fourth model year, ran 10.94 stock ...four years ago. It was literally the benchmark for theGT500 (picture). The ZL1 is an obtainable world class sports car. No apologies needed.
Wasn’t Evan’s 10.6 run in a preproduction car run six months earlier in ideal conditions? Ford paid for the fastest time you’ll ever see.

LOL, he isn't getting one. Apparently he owns imports. So if he was actually getting a GT500 then there is no reason for him to even be here.
Outside of the best conditions and best drivers the GT500 is going to get slapped around on the street. 10.6 Sounds good and all. But when that thing is at a light against a ZL1 of Hellcat and can't sit there staging in traffic and gets eaten alive, there will be lots of humiliated Shelby owners who are shit out of $100K+.
