Depending on what size headers you went with it might be necessary to loosen the starter to get the passenger side in.
I recommend getting ALL the header bolts started by hand before you start trying to tighten them down.
The steering shaft bolt you should be able to get with a extension. Make sure your wheels and steering wheel is as straight as possible.
